Mantorville is located in Southeast Minnesota along the South Branch of the Middle Fork of the Zumbro River. Mantorville is a quaint town, reminiscent of a time past. Founded in 1854, the city is one of the oldest in Minnesota. Known as the source for Mantorville Limestone, the town’s rich history is evident by the limestone buildings in the historic downtown area, which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Mantorville is home to the newly built Kasson/Mantorville schools, which are among some of the best in the state of Minnesota. There is a wealth of architectural heritage, talented artists, fine dining, entertainment, exquisite shopping, festivals, and everyday activities for all ages and interests.
